A little about me:

I grew up in Mamaroneck, NY, and attended Northwestern University, where I majored in Journalism and American Studies. Before beginning rabbinic school at HUC-JIR, I was a Youth and Family Educator at Central Synagogue, which affirmed my love for Jewish communal life.

While at HUC, my studies were enriched by a summer at Crane Lake Camp, a unit of clinical pastoral education (CPE), and rabbinic internships at Community Synagogue of Rye (Rye, NY), Larchmont Temple (Larchmont, NY), and Congregation Micah (Nashville, TN). I am a grateful recipient of the Wexner Graduate Fellowship/Davidson Scholarship and the Bonnie & Daniel Tisch Fellowship, and I was recognized with academic awards in Bible, Midrash, and Jewish History.

Since my ordination in May 2023, I have been proud to serve as the assistant rabbi at Congregation B’nai Jehoshua Beth Elohim (BJBE) in Deerfield, IL.

I am an amateur needlepointer, a bagel aficionado, and I’m always looking for a fun new TV show or board game. I live in Evanston, IL with my husband, Rabbi Jacob Leizman, and our pup, Saul.

My personal vision statement shares a bit about who I am as a rabbi. My resume shows the kind of work that has shaped me along the way.
